About The Event:
The Black Country Club presents Professional Tuesdays! Whether you have an established or successful business, or are just starting out, join us this Tuesday at Eve’s Lounge in Prospect Heights. This free networking event and mixer is an opportunity to showcase your business and mingle with some real, down-to-earth people from the tech, fashion, restaurant, and real estate industries who have the tools and resources to help you build your brand and accomplish your goals.
No one individual can achieve business success on his or her own; but on Tuesday you’ll have the chance to meet like-minded entrepreneurs who are eager to learn about your business and help you realize your dreams.
THIS WEEK’S SPECIAL GUESTS
This week features special guest Abdul Chatman, CEO of Blacktag Apparel. Abdul will provide insights into the ups and downs of starting your own clothing line, and how to operate a profitable pop-up shop.
This week also features event host, Ashanti Middleton, founder of Esrever Wines, who will introduce returning guest speaker Kia Campbell, founder of KC 360 Credit Recovery. Ashanti will also welcome to the platform members Stephen Edwards, founder of the photography and videography business IllFLIX, as well as Russalee Brown of NY Life.
We are also pleased to announce the return of special guest and Brooklyn native DJ SIR MANNY. DJ SIR MANNY performs in all the top venues around NYC, including the 40/40 Club. Already a music industry heavy-hitter, his local celebrity has earned him international renown.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We encourage you to arrive at 5 pm and come dressed for success! Starting this week we will have professional photographers at the event, and we’d love to capture our members at their best.
WHO WE ARE
The Black Country Club is a grassroots collective forged from a desire to bolster the Black progressive movement and bring great minds together, with the goal of promoting members of the community to self-sufficiency and establishing Black business ownership as an attainable measure of success. These are our heroes: the men and women who build something for themselves – with the support of their fellow entrepreneurs.
Professional Tuesdays, our prime business networking and social event, is already galvanizing the Black community both here in Brooklyn, and beyond. As news of the success of our first event ripples across social media and word-of-mouth, our network continues to grow.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
